Mobile Athletic Therapy Services in Selkirk Area, MB

This is where we start. I'll do a thorough evaluation of your injury, movement patterns, and goals, and put together a personalized plan that actually makes sense for your body. If you're not sure where to begin, start here.

Whether you're recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or just trying to stay active and mobile, sessions are hands-on and focused on real results. I use a combination of manual therapy, exercise-based rehabilitation, and soft tissue techniques depending on what your body needs that day.

Recovering from a motor vehicle accident? Or a workplace injury? Athletic Therapy is an eligible service under Manitoba Public Insurance (MPI). I can help guide you through the rehabilitation process and make sure you're getting the support your body needs.

A dedicated session focused entirely on flexibility, range of motion, and releasing muscle tension. Great for anyone who feels stiff, restricted, or wants to move better. Sessions are personalized to your body and your goals, not a generic stretch routine.

I come to you. No driving, no parking, no waiting rooms. Whether you're in Selkirk, Beausejour, Lockport, or anywhere in between, professional athletic therapy care is available right in your home. Especially valuable for clients in rural communities who need consistent care without the commute into Winnipeg.
Depending on your assessment and treatment goals, Jodie may incorporate one or more of the following modalities into your sessions. All are delivered in the comfort of your home.

Cupping uses small plastic or silicone cups placed on targeted areas of the body to create gentle suction. This lifts the tissue and draws increased blood flow to the area, helping to relax tight muscles, reduce pain, improve lymphatic drainage, and support the body's natural healing process. It's particularly effective for stubborn areas of tension and restricted soft tissue.

IFC is an electrical therapy that uses two medium-frequency currents delivered through four electrodes placed on the skin. The currents intersect at the treatment site, creating a therapeutic effect deep in the tissue where other treatments can't easily reach. It's commonly used for chronic pain management, including low back pain, neck pain, and joint pain from osteoarthritis.

Therapeutic ultrasound uses sound waves to generate gentle heat deep within the tissue, promoting circulation, reducing pain, and accelerating healing in muscles, tendons, and ligaments. It's a non-invasive treatment that works well for both acute injuries and longer-term conditions.

A TENS unit uses low-level electrical impulses to interrupt pain signals before they reach the brain, effectively reducing your perception of pain without medication. It's a well-established treatment for a range of conditions, including osteoarthritis, tendinitis, and fibromyalgia, and works well as part of a broader treatment plan.
